This is our refreshing take on a heritage brew from the California Gold Rush era. At the time, lager yeast was available but not the refrigeration required to ferment at the lower temperatures lager yeasts prefer. So was born the California Common, an ale made with lager yeast.

With a vibrant amber colour, this beer’s malty backbone gives way to a distinctive West Coast hop profile and a gentle dry bitterness in the finish. Deliciously thirst quenching, it’s the kind of session beer you'll want to break free with.
